The 2015 No. 1 overall pick does get a soft landing spot when he faces the Falcons' injury-ravaged defense in Week 6.

Analysis: Coach Dirk Koetter declined to say was whether Winston or Ryan Fitzpatrick, who has the Bucs off to a 2-1 start while throwing for more than 400 yards in a league-record three consecutive games will start Sunday.

Analysis: Winston says in a statement released on Facebook that the NFL informed him of their decision on Thursday. Winston says that "in the past 2 1/2 years my life has been filled with experiences, opportunities and events that have helped me grow, mature and learn." Winston added that he has eliminated alcohol from his life.
